I’m excited to finally share with you L&A’s Lapstone Barn (Cotswolds) wedding photographs. I was in for a treat with particular attention to detail at the stunning locaiton. The barn lends itself well to romance with it’s bright Cotswold stone interior and fairy light canopy – as I always say to my couples, a venue may well be pretty as it is but it is always worth adding some big and boastful decor because when you fill a space with people, the instant impression of a room changes. You want your guests to feel the visual atmosphere you’re creating and so, a few installations about the venue give interest and detail. L&A got this spot-on with their ceremony ‘arch’ and pampass grass displays.
L&A held their wedding just as pandemic restrictions had lifted to allow a bit more of a party (feels like such a long time ago already), at Cotswolds wedding venue Lapstone Barn – a photographer dream with so much light and space; I might add that the weather was blowing a hoolie and constand rain hampered many attempts to get outside so until we finally found a clear window, the super bright and spacious interior played host to our couple portrait session. L had opted for a Mikaella Bridal lace gown from Helena Fortleywith flowing train and super cathederal veil. These stunning Eglish rose floral pieces were created by Ivy Cruz Ltd. The wedding ceremony itself took place within the main barn area and L&A had bedecked the room with sympathetic decor and florals which really suited the barn and gave a very elegant feel while still tying in with the rustic style of the barn.
